day 26

Today we cycled 50 miles from Rampside to St Bees. Bees. We set off at 9:30 and cycled into Barrow in Furness here we went to the dock museum. It was closed so we went to see two warships being refuelled near there and get a coffee at a nearbye cafe. After a break there we cycled to muesuem which was now open. The muesuem was really good it had a dock section and a history of Barrow section. There was so much, so many ship models and pictures we also thought. We couldn't spend long there so we left to cycle on we saw a brick factory along the way and dad made his usual comentrs about things like that. Our first stop was after about 15 miles where I had a hot dog and dad had a burger. Then we came to our first proper hill in ages! Thank god in a way. It felt quite big but that's probably because we weren't used to it any more any way the veiw at the top was amazing and we didn't feel the cold and the down hill was even better it was a really good one it wasn't to steep or gravelly so we didn't need to brake and we wizzed down it. At the other side it was 18miles (we had a bit before I the hill). We stopped next at a cafe run by a funny lady but cycled on in the end to St Bees. Here we had a bit of trouble finding our caravan owned by Janet but find it we did. We had a shower then walked to the local hotel for dinner and surprisingly the had a history of St Bees which was interesting. And that was finally and other day with a hill.

PS: I didn't have wifi to post yesterdays one I do now and I say thank you to Jane who put us up last night now we're having second breakfast at a cafe in Workington
