day 23

Soooo, before we start today I'm saying that we slept in a tent last night that loong bought and it's been ages since I slept in that tent. We set off at 5:46 really early! Firstly we cycled to Flint and we sat outside the town hall and ate some stuff bought from yesterday after that we crossed over the river Dee bridge and came eventually to an MOD firing range. We had a ferry across the river Mersey and on the other side they we're having a parade! There the main things were three string puppets a granny, girl and a dog although we didn't manage to see the dog. After that excitement we had our first proper breakfast at a cafe.

After breakfast we went to the Cavern club which hosted the Beatles there you could walk downstairs to it and see everything and also get a drink. Next we went to apparently a famous photographers house called Edward Shambre Hardman who we didn't know anything about. The last thing to see at Liverpool was the Grand National horse racecourse there were some competitions going on for the horse riders and those were nice to watch. We got to Southport by a torturous NCN route as usual but managed to get there in good time. Tonight we watched a movie at a view cinema! One of the new ones called Hercules which we all thought was really good. So we're staying in tent again tonight in a scout club place on there green by a river so now we've just finished dinner and are going to put up the tent. Night
