Woke up at 7:45 for breakfast and our clothes had been washed and dried from yesterday so they were very clean. Simeon and Mary prepared us a lovely cooked breakfast we also took a picture with them just before we left at 9. We went 20 miles is before our first stop just over half way. Before all this however we started out extremely happy on the coastal route on the seafront. This was a really nice path for cyclists and walkers and we for 6 miles this was great for us until we took it to far. We continued on the path when it turned to pebbles and soon we couldn't cycle on it. We were in between the sea and a field so we climbed up to the field and had to walk all the way through it to get to a path on the other side ๐Ÿ˜ฆ. We took one or two more wrong turns but made it to Shoreham and a new glass bridge unfortunately many of the glass panels had been smashed not sure how but it really was a shame. We also cycled past a crash which seemed to do something with a motorcyclist but while we cycled past it lots of cars had to turn around as they couldn't go any further. The last thing we came across in Shoreham was a swinging bridge for boats we had to cross with gates at both ends. Dad got over excited and demanded I take pictures. Then we came to our stop which was in Worthing  just before Brighton and along here was another nice cycle path.

We had decided to stop in the cafรฉ we saw across the road but went to the public toilets first and I was walking back to our bikes when there was a Bang! Dad's front tyre was down so we took the bikes across the road first and had second breakfast. After that dad took the front wheel off the bike and we found the hole that went through the tyre as well as the inner tube!! Dad then looked up the closest bike shop and we walked to it. Dad was inside a few minutes and came out eventually with a new tyre. He fitted this on relatively easily with a new inner tube as well. However this new tyre he bought was a few sizes bigger because they didn't have our size of tyre but oh well. We continued along the Brighton front and came inland at the end of the pier. We went out to the sea again on another really nice walk called Undercliff walk and this went on for 8miles ish. On the way we stopped for a sandwich which was our lunch and dad decided to buy suncream and we definitely needed that! We reached the end of the walk and it was back to road cycling into newhaven. When we reached our bnb they didn't have us booked! But dad showed them the booking and we then cycled to another bnb run by the same people so that was sorted out luckily. Hoping for an early night we ate dinner at 4 at the pub a ten minute walk away. Tommorow we'll be seeing mum and I can't wait๐Ÿ˜Š.
