Day7 part 3

Dad and I had a good night's sleep and woke at 7 for 7:30 continental breakfast leaving at 8:15 sharp. Cycled through seaford and up and down a small hill. To beechy head through birling gap where the national trust wasn't open (being a sunday). We took some pictures here ๐Ÿ˜ด and cycled on up another hill… Down into Eastbourne and we had a nice down a rather prodigious hill where I reached 66kph, we could definitely have gone faster but we couldnt see round the corners, so had to break. Our fastest speed has been 68.3kph so close but anyhow we arrived in Eastbourne and stopped in the first cafรฉ we saw.
After second breakfast we cycled along slot of the seafront and through Bexhill (๐Ÿ˜which had no hill). We saw lots of pirates in Hastings so we didn't stop for lunch (too busy for us) and cycled straight through there was traffic aswell! Then came our biggest hill we had come across in a while, after hastings dad huffed and puffed but we made it. Halfway down on the other side of hill we stopped at the coastguard cafe dad didn't like it but it was nice for a stop. Down the rest of the hill we came and it was a straight cycle all the way to Rye about 6 miles to go and we made a good speed getting there in literally 10 minutes (give or take a few, and that's not hogwash). In the we stopped outside our bnb, called mummy and she was just around the corner๐Ÿ˜Š. It was 1:30 when we arrived so we walked a few metres away and came across this lovely chocolate cafe I had chocolate milkshake and mum and dad had an excellent coffee (dad said it was the best coffee he had drunk on the trip so far so I'm noting it down and will post a picture of the cafe after the blog (it's worth a visit)) Then we had a look in our bnb had a shower and started looking around the town at 3. It's a very traditional town and we went past the town ling and Bryn were married ๐Ÿ˜Š. We are having dinner in The Standard and catching up with Mum. Bye!
