A splendiferous day!

We woke up at 7:15 nice and early for cereal and set off rather 9:15 for our ferry 2 miles down the road. We reached the ferry harbour soon and bought our tickets but it turned out that we were given the swing ones. Luckily the men on the ferry let us on understandingly. This took us to Yarmouth and I had a nap on the way there. At Yarmouth we had choices of routes (varying in distance) and I obviously chose the shortest. Soon though we changed onto the cycle route for the isle of white as to be off the main road. this only added on 1 mile extra so we did 22 instead of 21. We had one stop on the isle of white which was in Newport for second breakfast. We had this at a very nice b and b where it was open all morning we think for serving possibly even lunch too it was called the Holly rood and we settled here for a while and finished the last 3 miles is to our ferry. We had a drink at the harbour in Rhyde while waiting for our ferry and that took us to Portsmouth and from there we took a passenger ferry to Gosport. We arrived at 1:30ish and cycled the last 3 miles to uncle Kim's boat. Him and Jean weren't there at the time we arrived so we had lunch at a very nice pub not far away and when we came back to the boat they had returned from shopping. Right now everyone has been roped into working around the boat except me which is fair as I'm writing this😝. Today we've only cycled 22 miles and tommorow is only 30 to bognor Regis. I only that the weather stays perfect like today.
