Day 8 part 3

Mum, dad and I woke up 7:45 for breakfast at 8:15 which had everything in it. We set off after this and I carried mum's bag because I'm a big boy now. Our first place to pass through was lydd and It was quite hot and sunny already. On the way to Romney we cycled a few miles around Dungeness and could see the nuclear power station and on the left of that the lighthouses. Our first stop was 18 miles away at New Romney. We stopped at a cafe called Elsie's and across the road was a shop called Back to School and in it were sweets! So mum and dad gave me money to get a bag of them so I bought jellybeans๐Ÿ˜„. We had a full breakfast and shared it between the three of us and an old US muscle car 6 litre V8 engine  (really shiny) pulled up on the side of the road something not fully right but that brought a small crowd and everyone had a good look at it.

Cycling on we went through Old Romney, Brookland, Fairfield, Snargate and Applegate taking various pictures along the way. Our next stop was Appledore and we had lunch in a pub and although the service was slightly slow it was nice for a rest from the sun. After lunch we cycled through Woodchurch and along national cycle route 18 and 11 and into the station at Ashford. We had to say goodbye to mum๐Ÿ˜ญ but at least we'll be home in two days. I took a picture of her leaving on the train. Then me and dad had a short 5 mile cycle to a Holiday Inn just outside Ashford 3 stars. And dad said tommorow will be even posher!
