day 3

Yesterday we cycled 75 miles it was really tiring! We set off at 8:30 the weather was nice in the morning we went down a steep rocky road which we had to dismount off our bikes to walk down (it wasn't nice). After about a mile of that we cycled to Plymouth which was about 21miles and took the cremyll ferry to cremyll. Next we cycled another 13 miles to Finnygook Inn for a very nice lunch. After we were a bit more rested again we cycled down the mountain and following a Google map we went down a foot path! It was horrible we had to dismount it was really rocky but then we met a river, so we had to jump over it and we couldn't find a path to go on so we had to walk through shepp fields! So anyway we continued along the (path) and came to a fence so dad bent it and we climbed over with the bikes and bag. We found an almost proper path but it was cut of by the river with only islands to jump to. After about an hour wasted on that route we found the end onto a proper road we were relived! After this the rest was a blur and it was hill after hill after hill until we came past St Austell and we had to stop for something stuck in my chain. When we got it sorted out we continued we were very close to our destination when dad realised he was wearing the wrong glasses we went back to look for them and luckily found them. We finished at Virginia house belonging to Keely and John a friend of our friend. They were extremely kind and let us sleep in their bed while they slept on a sofa bed. I slept well that night...
