Today we cycled from Cardiff to Swansea. It's a really hot day and the weather has been nice although going up hills isn't the best with heat. We set off at 10:30 as dad had to have a new crank bearing put on as the old one was worn out. So we went to a cafe while that was being done by a bike shop owner. Our first stop was yet again just before half way at a MacDonald's dad wanted to stop there for a snack. That was at 12:30 we carried on using the phone for directions whenever we needed it the only two bigish things we saw today was the Bedford park ironworks which were old but I didn't see much history about them the second was the vale of glamorgan meant to be special for being so city free and soft country side.
After all this the second stop we had was at a cafe in port tolbort which we found after looking at 4 cafes which were all closing. Any way we and a lovely lunch there at three it was only 12 miles away from Swansea. We continued along the way by now its was practically sweltering but we got to Swansea bay and it was beautiful there. This was another day where we had to find a b&b to stay at dad calls this one cheep and nasty its not his favorite. Were going down to the beach now for a short walk before bed and and maybe to crap singing downstairs. Bye.
