We had a horrible cold wet, cold, wet and muddy day. Dad, Mum and I woke up at 6:15 very earlynour tent is old so the corners were wet as it had been raining all night and still was. The rain was light luckily so we set off and had a cold bacon sandwich we had prepared last night. The wind was behind us and we cycled all the way along the roads till we came to a sign board with information about the 158 squadron we read that and continued.
The roads were nice and we hadn't gone along any tracks we only had two hills which weren't too bad. It felt like very soon we arrived at a golf course and had a really nice breakfast and hot chocolate. Unfortunately we did end up on a track and that was when we got actually muddy. There were lots of puddles and it was easy to get dirty.
We met Mum at a garden centre and I changed top we had a small lunch and found a bnb the other side of Hull. This was at 1 we had a shower which was lovely and went out for lunch. Dad complained because apparently the apple chutney tasted like apple sauce. We drove to Grimsby across tRestruant Bridge and had Fish and Chips at St James's Fish Restruant and came back to the bnb which is where we are now tommorow we'll be heading to Mablethrope.
