Last day of part 2
Last day yay. So we woke and had breakfast around 7:30- 8 and set off at 8:30. It was very lightly raining so we set off and went straight to Hatfield Heath. We had a track again and this one was really muddy that it stopped our wheels and we had to get out the mud. We eventually came out the other end of the track.
I took off my norml shorts at one point because they felt too tight, thought you would want to know. We got to Hatfield Heath which was about 17 miles and met John and Will there as well as Mum at a cafe. We had tea and cakes and cycled to Andrew's house a former friend from my former school and only hung around for ten minutes there as John had to get back for one o'clock. Andrew showed me his pets he had lots. One horse, one pony, a hamster and a dog quite a lot I think.
We then cycled straight home I only recognised it once we got to Epping though the rain had stopped a long time ago. We said by to Will and John at the Green man roundabout and came home we washed the bikes when we got back and had lumch and I don't have to cycle on our Sunday cycle I don't want to cycle any time soon. Bye ;-) :-).

Day 10 part 2
I'm writing this on my dad's phone as our tablet is flat. Not a bad day at all exempt for the tracks at the start and end. QWe left the camp at 8:30 and went along a road and soon we were on it. It seemed fine at first just a bit of a grass track a car fairly regularly went through. Naturally our lucky got worse and we were walking through stinging nettles, we made it to a bridge and crossed over the river we had been walking by. We had been stung lots of times.
We soon were on road and went through Wicken Fen which is a parent internationally famous but dad says that about a lot of things. Our first stop was New Market (internationally famous) for horse racing. We had second breakfast and went to the horse racing museum which was really good ad there was a horse simulator and an 80 year old man called Alfie Westwood who was really fun and talkative who was the person who let us on the horse simulator. Alfie had won a few races as a Jokey when he was younger.
Next stop was at Anglesea Abbey a National Trust place given to them in 1966. It wasn't actually an abbey but it was a massive place with a water nill in the grounds which were big as well. We had lunch there and cycled on to Saffron Walden 20 miles away.
Half way after about 9 miles we found our second track. It was all grassy again but luckily it was all short and there were no stingers. The actual track though was really thin only about 2 inches wide the kind that make you think you'll fall over or slip and this went on for about five miles. It was bumpy and a bit up and downy horrible. Finally we got out and soon arrived at Little Walden which we cycled straight through and got to Saffron Walden. Mum found a Hotel and tommorow is the last day yay!π although we have had one day extra than we were supposed toπ oh well only 40 miles tommorow.π and apparently we will be meeting some other ccyclists to go back with us half way. So bye.

SUPER FLAT DAY. Day 9 part 2
Today we cycled 60 miles from Boston to Ely and we clycled 200 feet up in total (extremely flat). I'm not sure what time we woke up, probably 7-8 and had pancakes for breakfast yay! We started at 9ish and set off.
Our first stop was, at the side of an A road we had been cycling along, at a little caravan where we had two burgers and a nice chat before continuing. We got to Wisbech next which was over half way and we went into a museum which was actually really good. It was small but had lots of interesting artifacts the one I found most interesting was the nose of a Saw Fish (not a sword fish) there were lots of stuffed animals and a big collection of minerals and such.
We had lunch and cycled all the way to Ely. There we visited the cathedral. It was very big and grand but we couldn't see all of it. We last cycled to our camp and met another cyclist. We just had a nice dinner in Ely and will probably go back to the camp eventually.

Roler coaster rides!!!! Day 8 part 2
Awsome day today, only 40 miles, we went to a Fantasy Island 3 miles from Skegness. We got up at 7 o'clock and had a sausage sandwich for breakfast and cereal and set out at 9. The roads were really nice and eventually got to the promenade which was okay except that there was sand which we kept slipigpgn in and etc. This wasn't for to long and we soon found Fantasy Island. Mum was in Skegness so she drove to us and we bought all day tickets.
The rides were really fun and my favourite was called The Millenniumwith three loops. It wasn't the most up and down and round and round ride but the other one made my head hit the side of the harness that held you in. The ride called Amazing Confusion was like an umbrella spinning around a horizontal axis that stayed upside down a lot but that was also really fun.
We had 3 full roast dinners for lunch and watched as a shower of rain went over. We left soon after and cycled straight to Boston. We're staying the house of a person who stayed in ours for a while its really nice and they're really welcoming we're about to have dinner soon I think and tommorow we'll be cycling to Ely.

Lovely day 7 part 2
Great day so far we have finished cycling had to do 52 miles from Hull to Mablethorpe. It's been great weather all day with the wind behind us and no rain, we only had 800 feet of climbing today. Most of our clothes were dry except our shoes and gloves but they soon dried as we cycled.
We woke at 7, had breakfast at 8 so a nice late start and cycled straight over the Humber Bridge and continued to Mablethorpe. We didn't stop at a cafe as we didn't see a single one! But we did stop for snacks a so on. We went quite fast but my legs ached a bit because we didn't have second breakfast but we got up to 22 miles per hour on the flats. We soon arivved at Mablethorpe and Mum found a Campsite. At 5 we will try and watch The Hitman which will be on.
Dad is just about to use the shower and says he will actually use soap this time! This is a short day which is nice and tommorow might only have to cycle 40 miles yay.

Super muddy day
We had a horrible cold wet, cold, wet and muddy day. Dad, Mum and I woke up at 6:15 very earlynour tent is old so the corners were wet as it had been raining all night and still was. The rain was light luckily so we set off and had a cold bacon sandwich we had prepared last night. The wind was behind us and we cycled all the way along the roads till we came to a sign board with information about the 158 squadron we read that and continued.
The roads were nice and we hadn't gone along any tracks we only had two hills which weren't too bad. It felt like very soon we arrived at a golf course and had a really nice breakfast and hot chocolate. Unfortunately we did end up on a track and that was when we got actually muddy. There were lots of puddles and it was easy to get dirty.
We met Mum at a garden centre and I changed top we had a small lunch and found a bnb the other side of Hull. This was at 1 we had a shower which was lovely and went out for lunch. Dad complained because apparently the apple chutney tasted like apple sauce. We drove to Grimsby across tRestruant Bridge and had Fish and Chips at St James's Fish Restruant and came back to the bnb which is where we are now tommorow we'll be heading to Mablethrope.

Short day
So today wasn't windy and we only had to cycle 20 miles, but we only got to our camp at three. We woke up late and set off late too so I had a lovely lie in. We started off down a small track and cycled into Robin Hood's Bay we then walked down a thirty percent with Mum and had breakfast after a look around.
We followed an National cycle route and ended up going on a track but as it wasnt too bad and it was better going round the hill rather than straight up it it was OK. Once at the top we had a very long decent unfortunately still on track we had to brake a lot which hurt my hands. This eased off and as we neared the bottom we saw a tea and cakes garden so be stopped there for lemon cake.
After our brake we were only 5 miles from Scarborough we arrived quickly and had lunch just at the top of the beach on a hill next door was a tram to the bottom so we took that down had a couple of pictures and walked back up (we should have done it the other way round).
Tessie had put up the tent 3 miles away so we cycled there in no time arrived and went to buy food from the co-op in the campsite. There is also a swimming pool, an arcade and pub here it has alot. We will probably have a shower later and tommorow the weather forecast is rain:-( but the wind will be behind us hopefully :-D bye.

π‘π π°π΄ππFinally finished tyring day the wind has been against us for the last 2 days non-stop and will be tomorrow apparently. Started around 8ish andcrossed over a river by ferry at south shields about 20 miles away at South Shield's Light house apparently the first electric lighthouse where we had lemon cake and went though the exhibit (Is that the right word?).
Lunch was at 1:30 in The Albion a Pub in Ryhorn which was very nice and they were already asking for bookings for Xmas! We went in alsorts of places Google took us we made it reroute at the end by not going down a track. Also we had another puncture, it forgot to mention yesterday's they we both on the back wheel and yesterday's one went through the tyre itself! We are camped at Billy Jean's Campsite Stockton on Tees (it's 15 miles from Stockton on Tees). I don't feel so tired right now it's only 19:25 but we will need an early night.
Next day...
We left Billy Jean's Campsite at 7 to get to the the transporter bridge at 8 and we arrived on time. Unfortunately the company changed to time so it only opened at 9:30 so Tessie came back over from the other side as she went over another bridge and waited with us as we had nothing to so till then.
Our first stop was at Saltburn a small little coast stop where me and dad had drinks then continued to Staithes. We got to Staithes by going down a steep hill and bridge at the end and after the best cream tea I ever had we found Mum at the top of a hill out of the main part of the town. Mum gave us pasties and that was our lunch. We decided to meet at Whitby but as it was so busy we decided not to.
Whitby seems full of people we had to walk through the crowds to cross the river there and get to the other side the bridge turned sideways in the middle to allow boats through which was fun to watch. On the other side we drank at a nice cafe with a really interesting wall with lots of posters on. Finally we only had to cycle 5 miles to Robin Hoods Bay and we are right now at Book's House Campsite on the side of a hill. It's quite nice here and apparently we will only have to cycle 20 miles at the maximum tommorow.ππ
